Les 2 Alpes in a few
Located in the heart of the Massif des Ecrins, to the north of Gap and south of Grenoble, Les 2 Alpes resort attracts many visitors. What makes it special is that its high altitude ski area makes it possible to hit its slopes summer and winter.
When should I come?
Les 2 Alpes is one of the resorts offering a wide range of activities, summer and winter. During the cold season, you will naturally have plenty of choice for winter sports - whereas in summer, the resort offers a variety of other activities: summer skiing, archery, mountain biking, hiking, swimming pools, the Lake, the Adventure Park, trampolines, and devalkarting... So many great reasons to stay in Les 2 Alpes!
Good to know
The resort has the Family Plus label and offers all kinds of facilities to take care of your children: nursery, day care and leisure centre, specially adapted teaching... This is a great way to enjoy a family holiday while taking advantage of the ski area and leaving your children in good hands.
How to get there?
By car: from Grenoble, exit nº8 Briançon / Vizille, then take the RD1091 towards Briançon via Le Bourg d'Oisans. At the Chambon dam, turn right and follow the D213. From Briançon or from Italy: Take the RD1091 towards Grenoble. At the Chambon dam, turn left and follow the D213.
Warning: in winter, we strongly recommend you to use special equipment (snow chains, snow tyres).
By train: The Grenoble TGV ( high speed train ) station is 70km from Les 2 Alpes. You can take a bus or carpool from the railway station.
By plane: The closest airport is in Grenoble (67km). You can also opt to arrive at Lyon (163 km) or Geneva (210 km) airports.
